Halloween cooking

A flood of Halloween recipes ran through my head last week.  Should I make pumpkin cookies or "bloody" red velvet cake with orange frosting.  Could not decide until late Friday.  My final decisions: Hotdogs dressed up as "mummies" and eyeball nachos - both were amazing (not just my opinion).
